Custom web calculators

Your visitors want a
price before they call.

I build the calculator that gives them one, and gives you their details. It arrives as a single file you paste into your site. No plugin, no platform, and no monthly fee for as long as you own it.

One file, or a subscription forever

Every calculator platform rents you the tool. Stop paying and your pricing page goes blank. That is the part nobody mentions on the sales page.

Calculator SaaS

$30 to $100
every month, forever
  • Cancel and the calculator dies with the account
  • Their branding, their spinner, their cookie banner
  • Slow. It pulls in a whole framework to add up five numbers
  • Locked to the templates they decided to build
  • Your leads sit in someone else's database

Onefile

From $45
once, and the file is yours
  • Works offline, forever, with nothing to renew
  • Your colours, your fonts, no third party branding
  • No dependencies, so it renders instantly
  • Any pricing rule you can explain to me, including the awkward ones
  • Leads go straight to your inbox or your own CRM
Two months of theirs costs more than most of mine

Three working demos

Not screenshots. These are real tools, each one a single file, exactly the way yours would arrive. Open them and change the options.

No. 01

Moving quote

Home servicesLead capture

Property size, distance, access, extras and a peak date surcharge. Hourly extras scale with the size of the job, which is the sort of rule off-the-shelf tools cannot express.

B2B ROI calculator

SaaSEmail gate

Live sliders, a headline saving, payback period, and an email gate on the full breakdown. It applies an honest adoption haircut rather than flattering the number.

EcommerceQuantity breaks

Quantity break pricing, options that disable each other when they are incompatible, and an upsell that shows what the next price break would save.

Portfolio demos, built to show the range. Client work stays private unless the client is happy to be named.

How a project runs

Most take two to five days. The only thing I need from you is how you work out your prices.

Send your pricing

A spreadsheet, a PDF, a photo of a rate card, or just typed out in a message. Messy is normal. I will ask the questions that turn it into rules.

I build it

You get a live link to try before anything is final. I pull your colours and fonts off your site so it looks like it belongs there.

You tell me what is wrong

There is always something. Revisions are included, and I would rather do another round than hand over something you will not use.

You get the file

One file, plus a short note on where to paste it and which lines hold your prices. Change a rate yourself in ten seconds, no invoice.

Pricing

Fixed price, agreed before I start. If your job does not fit a box, tell me what it needs to do and I will quote it.

Payment terms

Under $200 is paid in full before I start. Above that it is half up front and half when the working link is signed off, before I hand over the file. You see the tool running at every stage, so you are never paying for something you have not tried.

Questions

Will it work on my website?

Yes. It is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no dependencies, so it works on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, Framer, GoHighLevel, Notion or a hand written site. The one thing to check is whether your current plan allows custom code, because some builders lock that behind an upgrade. Tell me your platform first and I will confirm.

Is there really no monthly fee?

None. You pay once and the file is yours to keep, copy, edit and move to another site. There is no licence key, no account, and nothing phoning home. If I disappeared tomorrow your calculator would carry on working.

My pricing is complicated. Is that a problem?

It is usually the reason people come here. Quantity breaks, minimum charges, surcharges that only apply in certain combinations, options that rule each other out, regional rates. If you can explain it to a new member of staff, I can build it. The print demo above has three of those rules in it.

How do I actually get the leads?

The finished quote goes to your inbox with the visitor's name and contact details. I wire it to a free form endpoint, or straight into your CRM if you have one. Setting that up is included, and you do not need an account with me for it to work.

Can I change the prices myself later?

Yes, and this is deliberate. Every rate sits in one clearly marked block at the top of the file in plain English. The handover note tells you exactly which lines to edit. Putting your prices up should not require hiring me again.

Who am I?

Alex, an independent developer working under the name Onefile Studio. I build small, self-contained web tools and nothing else, which is why they are quick and why they cost what they cost. I work in English, German, French and Italian.

Tell me what it needs to work out

One or two sentences is enough to start. If your idea is bigger or smaller than what I do, I will say so rather than take the job.
